Bride:  Brittany (McCauley) Sacheck

Groom:  James Sacheck

Ceremony:  Zionsville Presbyterian Church, Zionsville, Indiana

Reception:  D’Amore, 48th Floor, Chase Tower, Downtown Indianapolis

Honeymoon:  Sandals Resort, St. Lucia

September 10, 2011

When did you first meet?   We first met attending Zionsville Middle School – 6th grade!

Where did you first meet?  We reconnected after college.  James is a professional golfer and stayed in Texas after College.  In May of 2010, he was in Indy playing in a qualifier and we went out while he was in town.  We’ve pretty much been together from then on.

When did you know you were going to marry him?    Fall, 2010

How did he propose?  James made a surprise proposal a few days before Christmas while spending the holiday in Indianapolis with my family.

Favorite thing to do together?  We like exploring new cities and sites across the country while traveling on the Nationwide Golf Tour.

Wedding Colors: Classic Black & White Wedding w/purple & pink accents

Number of Guests:  200

Number in Wedding Party:  5 Bridesmaids, 5 Groomsmen, and 1 Flower Girl

Wedding Style:  Elegant and Traditional

Beauty Style:  Classic

Dress Style:  Satin strapless trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline, hand beaded lace trim and belt with a semi-cathedral train designed by Kathy Ireland.

Most unique wedding personalization:  We had fun with our wedding date, which was 9-10-11.  We had a personalized aisle runner and a GOBO at the reception.  For guests we gave away personalized golf tees.   I carried a piece of lace from my mother’s wedding dress woven in my bridal bouquet and sewn into the netting of my dress was a blue pearl with a silver cap engraved with our initials and the date.

Something you did very different:  Our guests did a colorful Balloon Release as we made our way to a waiting hummer limo.

Something you did traditional: Our vows were traditional and we didn’t see other before the ceremony.

Something you would do all over again:  Taking pictures after the ceremony, it made the walk down the aisle unforgettable.

Something you would never do again:  Worry about any part of the day, everything turns out beautiful!

Most memorable moment:  The excitement of the reception, celebrating with all of our friends and family; dancing the final song together and the surprise send-off with sparklers and horse and carriage.

Best wedding decision:  Having our reception at D’Amore.  Overlooking this beautiful city during the evening was spectacular and the food and service were impeccable.

Best wedding overall advice:  It’s your day.  Make sure you and your Groom make the decisions that fulfill your wishes for your special day.
