My name is Terri D and I am fortunate enough to be the Editor of Indiana Bride Magazine. I wanted to bring this light-hearted, inspirational, informative on-line magazine to you for several reasons.

First and foremost, because planning a wedding should be a wonderful experience for the Bride AND Groom! Sometimes, like so many other things in our fast-paced society- I see it turn into a tense, stressful, hair-pulling misadventure. I don’t want that to happen to any of you.

Planners and checklists and all the “assistive devices” can be great ways to organize any process but none are the end all for everything.

Remember this whole marriage thing is based on what I refer to as the “3 L’s”: Love, Luck and Laughter. Remember that you need a little of each of these to get through the wedding planning process and a whole lot of all of then if you want to actually have a little fun and enjoy it!

Everyone is BUSY! Well almost everyone; regardless of age, job, location… Everything seems so full already in our day, that adding planning a wedding of top of, well Life, can certainly seem a tad overwhelming.

I want to bring you pools of resources, creative ideas, save you some time and money, and introduce you to some great vendors. I want to make you laugh with some jokes along the way, and keep you in the “I’m really getting married” wide grin mode as much as possible. That is what this magazine is going to be all about.
