Fall wedding trends -Bellefleur -Indianapolis - Indiana Bride Magazine

Fall wedding trends are warm and comfort meets texture and metallic bling. Fall wedding trends are full of simple and elegant contrasting elements. It is probably the easiest time of year to let mother nature economically help you with your decorations and best time to get away with earthy backgrounds and chic accents, or vice versa for that matter, that bring a smile to the guests eye from every angle.

You can get several of your decorations inexpensively at the local farmers market but what Bride’s are doing with them is “sparkling”! Mason jars with candles in the trees or twinkle lights in the rafters are lighting the way in Fall wedding trends to a true wedding successful wedding harvest.

Rich garlands with colorful fruits and vegetables or varying shapes and sizes (eggplant, pomegranates, mini-gourds, full size pumpkins, white corn, pears, grapes…) may still be garnishing the tables but tiers of crystals spice cake and shiny silver or gold culturally or adorning them. Sugaring the pears or freezing the grapes adds texture, intrigue and contrast. Dried Chinese lantern or birch branches may be a little more elegant but simple corn stalks or wheat bundles can be enhanced for unique and gorgeous archways. Wine or fruit barrels make great tables and decoration platforms. A cut off barrel rim with your names & wedding date becomes a personalized entrance sign screaming timeless classy harvest and is one of my favorite Fall wedding trends.

While Fall wedding trends may place a bigger emphasis on fruits and vegetables – but Fall flowers still rock! Hearty blooms and deep and rich colors make us all feel that the warm weather will stay with us just a little longer! Simple but casual blooms like brightly colored gerber daisies or sunflowers make great contrast against pewter ornaments and metallic ribbons, candles or fabrics in fall wedding trends. Rich elegant floral decorations like bright feathers and red berries mixed with burgundy-colored mini calla lilies and black magic roses set on solid cream tablecloths are other alternatives for the fall wedding trends contrast palette. Fall colors are warm bases with splashes of vivid colors that make you hungry! Chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon, pear green, rust orange, and scarlet apple. Sashes with these colors on wedding gowns carry the color gem with the Bride to the alter and look stunning with a metallic focal pin.

Don’t forget some Fall practicality in the Fall wedding trends! Autumn-scented pillar candles can be overwhelming if over used-so sprinkle verses perfusing any scented candles. Remember the fruit, vegetables, flowers and fall crisp air will already be working the olfactory sense in fall wedding trends! Also, if it is cold-warm those guests toes in addition to their hearts up with fun hot chocolate bars or mulled cider or wine stations.

Need help putting all those Fall wedding trends together, consider a wedding planner like Accolades of London and have your guests falling in love with your decorations!
