June is still the most popular month to get married in and the toss is up if it attributed to the goddess Juno or anxious young grooms bumping up the Celtic calendar dates. The Roman goddess Juno is the protector of women, especially in marriage and childbearing, so a wedding in Juno’s month makes perfect sense to set the stage for success. The Celtic calendar also encouraged the June wedding trend with the Cross-Quarter Days of pairing young couples off to court for 3 months. May 1st or May Day being the most popular, but young anxious grooms shortened the next Cross-Quarter Aug 1st to mid June and there you go. June Bride’s Rock- next most popular wedding months are August, July, May and September.
