Bride- Katy Sprauer

Groom- Jeremy Pfeifer

Ceremony location:  Holy Name Catholic Church

Reception location: Fountain Square Theatre

Honeymoon location: Key West FL (March 2015)

Wedding date: Dec. 20, 2015

When did you first meet: Fall of 2005

Where did you first meet: Texas Roadhouse (both servers/bartenders)

When did you know you were going to marry him: I knew before he did, his drive and determination drew me to him instantly.  We didn’t start dating until 2008, but it was perfect timing for both of us.  He asked me to be his girlfriend on Dec 20th, 2008 and that is now our wedding anniversary as well!!

How did he propose: Mallow Run Winery Nov 24th, 2013.  We both work in the school systems and we often tease one another on who is better at Math (his major subject).  His words while on one knee were, “You may think you are better at math than me, but I know that one plus one when it’s you and me equals forever, Will you marry me?” IT WAS PERFECT!

Favorite thing to do together: We LOVE NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL!!! We enjoy tailgating at games and watching the Irish!! We are both also very family and socially interactive- being around ones you love is the best place to be!

Wedding colors: gray and deep red/burgundy

Number of guests: 325

Number in wedding party: 10 groomsmen, 10 bridesmaids, 3 ushers, 2 angels (flower girls), 3 drummer boys (ring bearers) -we had angels and drummers pulled in a sleigh for our December Wedding

Wedding Style: Modern/Classic

Beauty style: Classic

Dress style: Long, Ivory, Cap Sleeved

Most unique wedding personalization:  Donut Bar from Long’s Bakery and Jimmy “Mad Dog” Matis singing “Some Kind Of Wonderful” and making the words about ME!!! (long time family friend)

Something you did very different: rented a school bus as a party bus to transport the bridal party to the reception

Something you did very traditional: the Catholic vows… something borrowed, blue, old, and new…having my father give me away

Something you would do all over again: EVERYTHING- it was the best day of my life

Something you would never do again: Honestly, everything was amazing! If I could have one difference it would be to ask for more help.  Everyone was willing and ready to help but I felt the need to do most things on my own! (stubborn)

Most memorable wedding moment: I went to get my dress bustled during dinner and my husband was sitting at the sweetheart table alone for longer than expected- so his brother/the Best Man took his plate up and ate with him! It was precious!

Best wedding decision: Venue and Date

Best Bride of the Month wedding overall advice: Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff-no one will notice if something isn’t perfect! ENJOY the day- it REALLY does go by faster than I ever imagined
