Calling all Brides interested in the latest and greatest trends of the Bridal world- check out a Bridal Show! Welcome to your expo; your information station, your room full of great wedding Vendors providing you with all that you need when planning your wedding. A Bridal Show is worth much more than the five to ten dollar admission ticket. A Bridal Show is your chance to mix and mingle with all kinds of wedding professionals from Make-up Artists to Caterers to DJ’s. There are booths with tons of handouts including freebies, sign-ups and taste-testings. Don’t forget the isles are flooded with Brides and Grooms who are or have been in your exact same position in the wedding planning process. What a great way to check out so many products and services and chat it up with some great Bridal Show Vendors.
This was my first Bridal Show and I had no idea how much information I would receive and how much fun it would be. There was fun for all ages and tons of ideas, decorations, wedding dresses and more for Brides to actually look at and take note of for what they really want for their wedding. One of the great features of this PWG Bridal Show was that it was located in the Indiana State Museum so the booths looked perfect against the architecture and lighting. It was a great way for a Bride to immerse herself into the wedding world!
Let’s talk food. Bridal Show guests not only got to experience a wonderful catered dinner and an array of cake samples, but super fun beverages that included refreshing summer fruit themes in raspberry, lemonade and strawberry slushy drinks. This could be a great selling point to get your Groom involved in wedding planning because he can have the opportunity to eat and drink while exploring all the endless wedding possibilities.
What would be food and beverages, without entertainment? Debating between a little fun music trio from the Cocktail Sax Band or a DJ like Sunny Moon who really knows how to keep that wedding party going – I say do both and let your guests enjoy listening to them as much as I did!
There was also a riveting Bridal Show fashion show to wrap things up. There were all kinds of beauties racing down the runway in gowns that are not only fashionable, but also realistic for the average bride. The Vendors as well as Brides got to see all of the new trending topics as well as what is hot and what is not. So for all Brides interested in learning more about weddings in 2011 as well as what all there is to out there to choose from, check out any of our Indiana Bride Magazine Vendor’s. Don’t forget to also mark your calendars on September 11th, from 11:00am- 4:00pm, at Crown Plaza Union Station for the next PWG Bridal Show.
