Sahm’s Atrium Bridal Show- July 24th, 2011

It takes a long time to plan a wedding, but Brides-to-Be who attended the Indy Wedding Idea’s Diva Bridal Show on Sunday, July 24th at Sahm’s Atrium, Downtown- sure had a head start to their wedding planning. If you haven’t checked out the One-of-a-Kind atmosphere at Sahm’s Atrium for your rehearsal Venue- put it high on your list!

This Bridal Show was buzzing with Brides, their Maid of Honors and their proud Mother of the Brides- and even a few Grooms! The Vendor booths were stacked with information and great ideas for any girls dream wedding, from one end of the atrium to the other. Visitors had an opportunity to check out plenty of Indianapolis’ finest vendors to get ideas for decorations, photography, music, honeymoon travel, and even on getting in shape before the big day.

Within the first few moments after arriving at the Bridal Show the atmosphere was full of life, laughter and some great music! Local artist 3:1 played many popular hits throughout the bridal show, while offering a wide range of music for either a ceremony or reception. With music filling the atrium it couldn’t have been a more relaxing and enjoyable experience.

If Brides were looking for a more traditional sound at their ceremony, Elizabeth Ahlgrim of Indy Harpist, was just around the corner. Elizabeth was of great help with many of the Brides, discussing favorite songs to play, how to choose the right song and even offering the option for brides to send their favorite hits for Elizabeth to test out on the harp.

One of my favorite parts about the Bridal Show was trying out the different sweets set up throughout the atrium. Brides could get a taste from a chocolate fountain or check out mini cupcake bites set up a few booths down. Luckily, there was plenty to go around and the options were endless. A Couple of Sweet Things and The Cakehole both had delicious cakes and cupcakes for tasting, not to mention the beautiful and decadent designs. Both offered different variations in cakes, cupcakes and a wide range of photos from some of their favorite clients. If you couldn’t decide on a cake, there were cupcake designs for your wedding or any special occasion such as a Bachelorette party, Bridal shower or Engagement party.
